so, at the end of the day, michelle is unable to resist the temptation to write something, so here goes. [please do not criticize on her organization, for that will come when she gets her english letter-writing paper back]

-1: ohmygosh, my fingers are swelling up weirdly and they hurt like nuts upon friction. how to go back to the lovely chopin piece with such fingers, i ask you!

-2: term 3 SLs are performing for teachers' day! yayy. we actually made it through the auditions even though the teacher didn't look particularly pleased with our performance (or the fact that we didn't actually greet her, for that matter) and we sang terribly for the bridge section. nevermind we'll just work doubly hard to make amends for our (ahem) rather terrible showcase during the auditions! (and i don't know, but sometimes i feel this whole teachers' day thing, the extra fundraising and everything else related to SL is usually managed by this same group of people. i mean, it's like there are some who are really dedicated to the SL batch and everything, and they are some who are just so centered on their own welfare that they don't really care about anything that's happening.)

-3: i will be going to prague and vienna with rgschoir!

i must say that either i'm really very lucky or really very good when it comes to persuasion, of which i'm inclined to take the view of the first. i mean, with all the newly uncovered terrorist threats and all that, my parents were rather worried, but thankfully, i still can go. (and then i should go on about how i'm going to work really really hard and put in my 100% into choir and things of the like, but it goes without saying that these are to follow, so i shall not bother)
EDIT: that statement was self-contradictory, stemming from the fact that i can't express myself properly. -grawr.
EDIT2: oh, and i've learnt to fully appreciate rgschoir. now i know why i want to be in this cca for the rest of the 4 years in rgs.

-4: waddle'o7 house committee interviews. i don't fancy my chances on this one, seeing that i don't exactly express my enthusiasm for waddle as naturally as others do. but seriously, whatever i said during the interview was true, that about the bonding and everything, and i guess it'll be great if i were given the opportunity to like, hmm, talk to the sec1s and usher them into the rgs family (or rather, the waddle family)? maybe deciding to try for level co-ordinator wasn't that great an idea, after finding out that basically what you do is take attendance, collect house cards etc., but on second thoughts, that gives you more time to talk to the sec1s and bond with them. (:
still, no regrets if i don't secure a position in house comm next year. after all, there are more deserving people out there.

-5: most shockingly (or perhaps, most un-shockingly), it is almost impossible for one to borrow a blazer without the questions of others. XD well, i can't say anything other than "ask me no questions, and i'll tell you no lies". i feel mean and arrogant (for actually mentioning this) but i hope this clears the air {and actually, my frequent mentions of it arises more due to disbelief than pride, and when you don't believe in something, you desperately want that very day to come so that you can convince yourself, hey this is not a dream, but reality}. [shzehui, you smart person, you actually figured out the link between an earlier event and this one! (:]

and, a random thought: y'know, sometimes black and white is a really nice colour combination!

composed; 9:00 PM :D

lives, writes, sings, plays the piano, and attempts to sound intellectual at times (conclusion: fails rather miserably).

loves music (almost strictly classical, hurhur & inclusive of faziolis!), literature (& also the sciences - no they are not in conflict), making hopelessly lame puns, laughter, white/milk chocolate, cheesecake, the world & the people in it. list not exhaustive, by the way.

wants the world to be filled with peace, joy and love, and also wants (perhaps a little more selfishly) to be happy, plus lead a life of purpose. that would be more than enough. (:

oh, and she likes embarking on her own 'free hugs!' campaigns after exams and the like; not really sure why. D: (at any rate, you can tell that she's random enough.)

loves you!♥

very plain, she knows; but this is probably herself in its entirety - nothing more than a compilation of perhaps-boring-to-you little things (and the occasional Important Event), but also nothing less than all the brilliant memories which constitutes her life, and perhaps yours.

also interpreted as an inability to express with other things but words (nothing more, nothing less!), although even words sometimes won't do enough. but she does like orange.

v2.0 (230208): maybe solid grey isn't that fantastic after all. but wordy is good, all the same. she's weird, she knows.

ver. i-pretend-that-it-is-3.0-when-i-know-it-is-not (070608): i am boring, take that. (:

v4.0 (200908): got bored, so cut down on the quasi-fanciful stuff even more. perfectly plain now, though somehow the background still doesn't work on safari / google chrome. ):
